The first three dolls in this line of historically inspired characters: Walela, Sophia, and Elissa! Learn about imperial Britain through stories of empowerment, curiosity, and perseverance through the ages...

A Note On Product Visualization…

This project is partially born out of my (the creator) experience with American Girl Dolls as a child. Playing with those dolls showed me that history could be fun, and sparked my interest in the subject even from a young age. Due to budget constraints, I was not able to purchase new materials, dolls, and outfits for this project in representing the characters of Sophia, Elissa, and Walela. I am aware that the dolls and clothes used (my toys from when my sister and I were kids) are perhaps not the most historically accurate dolls and clothes that could have been used to portray these characters. Hopefully even though they may not be perfect, my love for these dolls and their fun and positive engagement of historical stories shines through!

Please excuse any misrepresentations and try to imagine what a professionally produced version of this project might look like!
